The BFW label module handles the printing of labels for individual and prefabricated materials and links this to the options for an exit check. The label module allows for printing on all kinds of materials and offers flexibility in the choice of print and material settings.
The legibility and visibility of the label should be optimal to ensure sufficient follow-up transport and processing. Therefore, besides the BFW label module, L.I.C. also offers label materials that are extremely durable and have a high degree of visibility. L.I.C. can also take care of preprinting of logos and seals of quality. The label will be delivered completely preprinted.
Choice of the label
The choice of label material is determined by a number of criteria:
- Recognisability;
- Durability;
- Speed of printing;
- Quality of printing;
- Cost of material.
Based on the above criteria, L.I.C. tested many label materials and printers and finally selected the following two systems:
- laser printer
- thermal transfer printer (TT printer):
The labels for the thermal transfer printer are particularly durable and have a high degree of recognition. The labels can be supplied in 12 basic colours. The labels are supplied in rolls of 700 labels in a fixed format.
