The BFW import/export module is a more comprehensive exchange system then the BVBS import/export module.
BVBS import/export exchanges on bar level and can be connected to reinforcement drawing systems such as Allplan and Tekla.
The BFW import/export module can be used to exchange the bending schedule information between 2 BFW licenses.
The advantage is that a lot more information in included.
After import, the bending schedule of the copy is identical to the original version.
Therefore, this module is an important tool and allows bending schedule developers to provide all of the bending schedule information to the rebar shop.

This feature is related to the use of the elements library (including the 3D cohesion).

If this option is available, the elements can be printed in the bending schedule.

The inclusion of shape definitions in the exchange file ensures that the shape is always exactly the same in other versions.

Reading of the bending schedule
When reading the bending schedule, BFW will perform the following actions:

The system searches for a suitable machine line (for production of the imported reinforcement).

The system searches for proper finishing and adds it to the imported rule.

The system searches for the correct steel quality.

The system searches for the correct mandrel that matches the machine.
As a result, the imported reinforcement is suitable to be included in the scheduling.
In principle, this means that the imported bending schedule is ready for production.
No inspection operations need to take place in order to produce the reinforcement.

The format that is used is specifically suitable for BFW.
The content has a specific meaning in BFW.
As a result, it cannot be used for other purposes.
However, the file format is effectively classified for import so that processing takes place quickly and easily.
