L.I.C. Software Development B.V. has been developing software for the reinforcement and concrete industry for over 30 years. Since 2024, it has also been part of Progress Software Development, a Progress Group company.
Through continuous innovation, BFW has been developed, an ERP system that supports all business processes in the reinforcement and concrete industry.
L.I.C. strives for clear and functional solutions. Because the reinforcement and concrete industry is at the heart of a rapidly developing world, L.I.C. ensures that its systems can be linked to other systems such as drawing packages, financial systems and machines.

L.I.C. not only has contacts with reinforcing steel processing companies, but also with contractors, machine builders, label producers and manufacturers of financial and drawing packages. In addition, L.I.C. participates in the VWN and in S@les in the construction industry and initiates and supports research into, for example, chain integration and lean production. These contacts and the knowledge gained enable L.I.C. to anticipate future developments, wishes and opportunities.
Since its inception, L.I.C. has grown from a developer of a bending schedule programme to a knowledge centre for the provision of information to the reinforcement and concrete industry in the Netherlands and Belgium.
