Time tracking app
It is often difficult to determine exactly which (hired) employees are or have been active on the construction site at what time. The Time tracking app was developed by L.I.C. to quickly obtain a correct picture of the deployment of its own and hired employees on the construction site.
The Time tracking app is a module of rebar3D, the L.I.C. web environment, which works perfect together with the familiar BFW.
This app is specifically designed for mobile phone use and can run on the r3Dapp environment as well as on the main mobile phone browsers.
The starting point for the app is that the foreman on the construction site can record the start and end times of the various (hired) employees. After login by the foreman, a project or work is selected based on the GPS coordinates. A list of employees who are scheduled to be present is then displayed. By clicking the button behind the employee's name, this employee is registered and the starting time is recorded. If the employee later leaves the construction site again, a simple click on the button can sign the employee out and the end time is registered. At a glance, the foreman can see who is on the construction site.
Location control
In BFW, the coordinates of the project's construction site can be registered. Around these project coordinates, the module draws an imaginary circle. The radius of the circle is adjustable. Only if a phone is inside this circle can the project be selected. The foreman is then on the construction site and the system is free for recording.
Absence notification
If an employee is absent or present for a shorter period than planned, the reason for the absence can be indicated in the details screen. With the data collected, correct timesheets can be drawn up. As all data are processed immediately, the office always has an up-to-date picture.
The detail screen
The detail screen provides information about the employee and can optionally be provided with a photo and phone number of the employee, so that the foreman can identify or call the employee.
Registering security problems
Technical or safety problems on site can delay or even make work impossible.
Clicking on the button with the exclamation mark opens a screen where the problem can be described and photos added if necessary. This data is then stored in the database and can be used as evidence.
