Loading control

In order to optimally monitor and control the loading of shipments, L.I.C. has developed the Loading Control module.
Loading Control enables the tracking of loading per bundle and stores loading data in the BFW database.
Loading Control is an application that runs under the L.I.C. web environment rebar3D.
The r3Dapp was created for the Datalogic Memor 10 scanner.

The pistol grip makes the scanner convenient to use. In many cases, the Loading Control module can be controlled using the button on the pistol grip, eliminating the need to remove gloves or press much too small buttons.
Where there is no other way, special barcodes have been developed for navigating within the application.
The scanner works with both Wi-Fi and GSM communication. This gives great freedom to use the scanner and it can also be used on the move.
The loading control works together with the loading list module (provided the layout of the loading list has a barcode).

Before the loading list can be scanned, a user must log in with a PIN code. This prevents abuse and lets us know which employee loaded the cargo.

The loading list

When the loading list barcode is scanned, a list of bundles to be loaded appears on the scanner.
The bundles are listed in the order in which they are best loaded. The flat meshes at the top so they are loaded first and the baskets at the bottom so they go onto the trailer last.

From this list, a label can be scanned directly. Once a label has been scanned, the background colour of the scanned line changes and the line moves to the bottom of the list. This allows the loader to continuously see what is already loaded and what still needs to be loaded.

When all lines are loaded, BFW receives a signal that the loading list is complete and the trailer can leave.

If a label is scanned for the second time or if a label is scanned that does not belong to the loading list, the Loading Control module gives an error message with a clear sound signal.

As long as the loading list is not completely scanned, bundles can be added to the list. Although these do not appear on the printed list, they do appear on the scanner and can therefore still be loaded.

With the Loading Control module, you have a powerful tool to prevent faulty deliveries and reduce subsequent deliveries.

When a position from the loading list is clicked on the scanner, one gets the detail screen. The detail screen shows further details about the bundle to be loaded, such as number, diameter and bend shape, in addition to the loading list data such as label colour, bend state or element number and brand.
This screen can help in the search for the correct bundle.

Advantages of using the loading control

  • Prevention of trailer loading errors;
  • Limiting back deliveries;
  • Monitoring cargo loading;
  • Full integration with BFW.
