The BFW digital control module allows specific machines to provide production data through file transfer. The advantage is that chance of errors during input is reduced. Furthermore, the working order for settling production assignments can be determined from the production scheduling stage. Finally, the digital control module can also be used in combination with software used for reading back production assignments performed by the machine. Therefore, you will always be up-to-date on the latest state of production.
Choice of management
In addition to digital control, it is also possible to provide machines with production data via barcodes. The following criteria may be used for deciding between digital control and barcode control:
- Flexibility: if you regularly receive rush assignments or change working orders, then the barcode module offers the most flexibility;
- If you have several identical machines (such as handle machines on the basis of which you cannot determine who does what), then the production assignments can be allocated between them. This is easier with the barcode control than with online file provided in advance;
- Is the loading sequence of the truck the same as the production sequence? Then the digital control module may be the best option. The module allows you to determine in what order to load the truck/perform work in advance,taking into account the route of transportation.
