Transport planning

The BFW transport planning module allows you to divide loads (per tonnage and/or size). Therefore, you can see exactly how many trailers you need on the day of delivery.

The module uses data from the production planning module to determine which bending schedules are ready. The planner can divide the loads; BFW supports the planner through indication of the load, tonnage, and the volume.

The system can determine whether external trailers are required on the basis of the number of loads. The driver and trailer are appointed before the consignment note is printed. After that, all other consignment notes can be printed.

The rides list shows the driver the following:

• Rides to be driven;
• Machine/hall for collection;
• Loads that need to be transported;
• Location of delivery;
• Tonnage/volume that needs to be transported;
• Color label associated with a production assignment, allowing the driver to see whether all reinforcement have been delivered.

As a result, the transport planning becomes part of the total planning, allowing everyone to consult the latest state of affairs. The planning becomes a lot simpler. Last minute changes can be implemented even faster.
